Make a Difference as our Head of Finance and Reporting
Are you a strategic and dynamic finance professional with a passion for making a difference? We are seeking a Head of Finance and Reporting to lead our financial planning and reporting functions, ensuring compliance, driving strategic decision-making, and fostering a high-performing team culture.
The Role
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer/Director of Finance (COO), this pivotal role will oversee financial management, reporting, compliance, and risk management.
You will provide strong leadership and technical expertise while working collaboratively across teams to ensure financial alignment with Via’s mission and strategic priorities.
About You
We are looking for a proactive and qualified finance professional with the following:
• A recognized CCAB accountancy qualification (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA, CIPFA).
• Significant years of progressive experience in finance, including leadership roles (at least 5 years).
• In-depth knowledge of charity finance regulations and compliance requirements.
• Proven track record in managing audits and working with external auditors.
• Proficiency in financial systems and software.
• Strong analytical skills and the ability to communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders.
• Commitment to working with socially excluded or vulnerable groups, including those affected by substance misuse.
