Role Summary: We have an exciting new opportunity for a Hub Maritime Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overseeing and coordination of principal’s vessel appointments routed through the Service Centre. Ensuring Principal & Vessel requirements are met focusing on delivery to the client and Inchcape Shipping Services. Key Accountabilities: Become a fully trained Operations Assistant within 12 months incorporating all the sated key accountabilities. Understand and comply with requirements as per Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) for service delivery of the hub. Full utilisation of the bespoke operating IT system ‘Optic’ and tools available and ensuring stakeholders use. Perform daily operational requirements ensuring service delivery, in line with the SOP and objectives/departmental strategy. Monitor Group Email for message management for service delivery. Coordinate vessel calls with local agents and stakeholders to optimise the port call without any delays or additional costs to the principle and/or hub. Monitor local agency performance and where required ensure service delivery standards. Stakeholder engagement and relationship building Monitoring and compliance of KPIs and cost savings and recording the data Ensure compliance with the principal requests, procedures, and policies, working instructions and contractual requirements. Work on call (Duty – AOH), on a Rota basis The post holder will carry out any other duties as and when required as requested by a line manager/management. Adhere to all ISS processes, procedures, working instructions and policies. Ensure 100% compliance in relation to ISS Ethics Policy and UK Legal requirements. Ensure full compliance with the ISS HSSE Management System. Accountable for reporting all accidents, incidents and near misses whether the persons are injured or not. Taking action within area of accountability to ensure the HSSE of both the job holder and other persons who may be affected by acts carried out or failed to be carried out by the job holder while at work.
