Plus, we'll even support your pursuit of a further development if that's something you're interested in Total Package up to £60,225. What will you be doing? As an Electrical Engineer- Energy Recovery & Processing, you'll be our go-to person for ensuring our sites operate at maximum efficiency. From processing resource into reusable materials to generating energy from landfill, you’ll provide critical technical support across our plants. This includes enhancing operational efficiency, supporting a variety of innovative waste-to-resource processes, and ensuring we meet and exceed industry standards. Your responsibilities will span project management, including specification development, tender processes, design reviews, and hands-on commissioning and breakdown support. Expect a dynamic role with travel to different sites about 25% of the time (typically 2-3 days per week with overnight stays). The Electrical Engineer- Energy Recovery & Processing position allows for the option of being based at any of our energy recovery facilities. Internally this role is called Technical Plant Engineer – EfW. What will you need, what can you gain? To make the cut, you must have experience in process, power, or heavy engineering industries and a solid understanding of environmental legislation and management systems. A HNC or higher education in Engineering is also a must, with the degree level desired. But what really sets you apart is your project management skills. You’ll bring at least 3 years of hands-on experience in electrical engineering. We're looking for someone who can keep things running smoothly and help us identify areas for improvement.
