Job summary The Deacon Unit- rated outstanding for leadership An exciting opportunity has arisen for a RNLD / RMN to join the Deacon Unit, within the Trust's Learning Disabilities Directorate. We support people with learning disabilities and complex needs, within the community and inpatient settings. The Multi-Disciplinary Team include Nursing, Senior Support Workers, Occupational Therapy, Speech & Language Therapy, Psychology, Psychiatry, Therapy Assistants and assistant Psychologist. The post is based at the Deacon unit which is an inpatient unit for people with learning disabilities. The post-holder would be involved in supporting the manager of the service alongside other responsibilities. The service operates 24/7, therefore flexibility to work shifts which include nights, weekends and bank holidays. Opportunities for joint working with other disciplines and agencies would be an integral part to the role. Candidate should have sound skills and competencies in line with the job description and knowledge and skills framework.
