Job overview
Our Security Administration Officer will work within the Security Management team, who provide a 24/7 service to 25 sites across the Trust.
They will regularly visit other sites and speak with leaders to understand risks and the impacts they are facing on a daily basis and run the ID badge service for the Trust and ensure access levels are recorded and maintained to within agreed standards.
Main duties of the job
* Manage the ID badge service under the supervision of the security manager ensuring that all enquiries are dealt with in a timely manner.
* Act as a focal point of contact and be responsible for the dissemination of information messages and enquiries linked to the healthcare security officers.
* Provide a response to Trust security incidents at the request of the security manager to assist with the management of individuals who may require conflict management or physical interventions.
* Be involved with high level impact & intense situations, requiring the regular use of conflict management and physical intervention, resulting in a physically and mentally demanding role.
* Liaise with multi-disciplinary team members, other health professionals, and staff in the Trust.
* Maintain a professional approach to work.
* Action tasks when assigned, ensuring a proactive and professional approach.

Detailed job description and main responsibilities
* Management of the ID card process and the distribution of the ID cards.
* Support the Trust when asked by the security manager to respond to all security operational issues, including emergencies across the Trust.
* Support the Security Operations Manager in the completion of security risk assessments and security profiles.
* Manage general security administration duties and commitments as required.
* Keep the department up to date with rotas and other finance-related duties.
Person specification
Administration
* Full UK Manual Driving License.
* Business Administration Qualification Level 3 or equivalent experience (or willing to complete within 12 months).
* GCSE at Grade C or equivalent.
* 2 years administration experience.
* Security Qualification or relevant experience.
* Security CCTV experience.
