At Gleeson Recruitment Group, we are seeking an experienced HR Advisor to join our Business Partnering team in Nottingham. This is a full-time permanent position that offers a competitive salary and excellent benefits package.
Job Overview
We are looking for a skilled HR Advisor who has a passion for employee relations and can handle high-volume and complex cases independently. As a member of our team, you will be responsible for providing operational support and advice on disciplinary, grievance, appeals, and redundancy consultation processes.
You will also be expected to take a proactive approach to absence management, identifying and resolving problematic cases and long-term sickness issues. In addition, you will work closely with the wider HR team to support organisational change and assist with creating new structures and processes where required.
Key Responsibilities
* Providing expert advice on employee relations matters, including disciplinary and grievance procedures
* Supporting managers in creating a positive approach to employee relations
* Assisting with redundancy consultation processes and TUPE transfers
* Developing and implementing absence management strategies
* Working collaboratively with the wider HR team to drive business outcomes
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
* Excellent knowledge of UK employment law
* Experience in handling high-volume and complex employee relations cases
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
* Confidence in your approach and ability to work autonomously
