We’re hiring for an experienced Maintenance Electrician to join the engineering department at a leading manufacturer based in the High Peak who produce precision tooling, jigs, and fixtures for their building materials manufacturing clients.

What’s on offer?
* £38,000 per annum
* Monday to Thursday 7:30am – 4:15pm / Friday 7:30am – 3:00pm
* 25 days holiday + bank holidays
What will you be doing as a Maintenance Electrician?
* Carrying out maintenance and repairs on motor drives, controllers, and fault finding on PLC and other control systems
* Continuously assessing plant and equipment, ensuring its most efficient running
* Completing assigned workload and following-up documentation as required
* Escalating and managing issues in a timely manner
* Ensuring all breakdowns are dealt with in an efficient manner through liaison with the Production Supervisor and Engineering Manager
What do you need?
* Experience in an engineering maintenance or service role is essential
* Fault-finding abilities with Siemens and Allen Bradley PLC’s
* Excellent fault-finding skills are crucial, especially; motor drives, controllers
* IT literate; including Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
* Educated to HNC in Electrical Engineering (or equivalent)
* Extensive Electrical knowledge 17th Edition – progressing to 18th
* Full UK driving licence; you may be required to travel to alternative sites on occasions
