The position of Account Manager is responsible for meeting their individual sales targets by value, product type and profitability. This will be achieved by using practical hands-on demonstration and sales skills to sell engineering and welding products including a full suite of industrial gases to new and existing customers in order to meet individual sales targets. In this role, you will be: Responsible for achieving the Company's sales and profit targets for individual named accounts with some prospecting for new business. Responsible for effecting an efficient and satisfactory supply and service to customers of the company. Planning and executing account planning, maximising customer facing time and minimising travel. Compliant with company policies, in particular Health & Safety regulations. ProActive in up-selling, cross selling full range of product offer. Using historic data and market trends to bring innovation, new ideas to support customers' growth. Taking ownership of the named accounts including dealing with client issues raised, revenue and product mix. Responsible for the Company's assets, which are on loan or rent to customers. The single point of contact and become their go to person. The above duties may involve having access to information of a confidential nature and confidentiality must be maintained at all times. Are you a MATCH? Practical experience of welding, able to demonstrate welding equipment and consumables. Demonstrable work experience in an account management / sales position. A background in welding and or industrial gases. Able to advise end users on process and equipment selection. Good standard of numeracy and literacy. Knowledge of Health and Safety requirements. A full, clean driving licence. IT literate. Strong communication skills. Problem solving skills.
