The successful Sales Manager is expected to be a key member of the UK Sales Team, with the aim of securing profitable sales and increased market share worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
* Own the sales process from initial enquiry to purchase order.
* Attend key customer visits to build and develop strong business relationships.
* Represent trade shows, exhibitions, and seminars to promote the group.
Experience Required:
* Actively seek market intelligence to develop sales opportunities.
* Travel internationally to develop and maintain client, agent, and supplier relationships.
* Develop new market areas and introduce new agents.
* Look for opportunities for after-market spares and service offerings.
* Work with the estimating team to expand the supply chain by identifying or visiting new suppliers to offer lower-cost sourcing options.
* Work with the process department to find new avenues for diversification.
* Lead and motivate team members.
* Active reporting of the sales pipeline, ensuring sales figures and enquiry records are up to date in the CRM.
* Attend sales and strategy meetings.
