Waythrough launched in October 2024 following the merger of Humankind and Richmond Fellowship. Our vision is to break down the barriers that stop people getting the support they need to live a life they value. We tackle poverty and disadvantage in communities through mental health, drug and alcohol, housing, and related support.
We have almost 200 services around England and nearly 3,500 amazing staff and volunteers who run them. Every year our services support around 125,000 people.
Independent Prescriber
About the role
Join our team at Waythrough's Recovery Steps Cumbria (RSC) and be part of an organisation that values work-life balance. We believe that a healthy work-life balance is essential for the well-being of our employees, and we are committed to providing flexible shifts and full or part-time hours to suit your needs.
As an Independent Prescriber in our established and growing service, you will play a vital role in providing one-to-one support and group programs, assisting with mental and physical health, and offering community alcohol and opiate detox services. Working within RSC, you will have the opportunity to make a real difference in the lives of those we serve.
You will have the support of our Senior Clinical Director, Lead Nurse, Regional Lead Nurse, and Humankind's central Clinical Department, ensuring you have the resources and guidance you need to excel in your role.
We are looking for a dedicated Non-Medical Prescriber with an Independent Prescriber qualification and ideally you will have experience supporting individuals with drug and alcohol issues. If you meet the criteria and want to be involved in the development of this service, we would love to hear from you.
Benefits of working with us as an Independent Prescriber:
* Flexible shifts and full or part-time hours to accommodate your personal needs and promote work-life balance.
* Maximum of 37 hours per week for full-time employees.
* Supportive and collaborative work environment with opportunities for professional growth and development.
* The chance to make a positive impact on the community and contribute to the improvement of individuals' lives.
