Main duties of the job
Key responsibilities:
* Provide strategic leadership and direction to the Division of Medicine, ensuring high standards of patient care and service delivery.
* Oversee the implementation of the PAHT2030 strategy within the division, driving innovation and improvement.
* Collaborate with clinical and non-clinical teams to achieve divisional and organisational goals.
* Lead, mentor, and support a multidisciplinary team, fostering a culture of collaboration and excellence.
* Balance divisional leadership responsibilities with clinical practice in your specialty.
Person Specification
Education and qualifications
* Clinical Registration - GMC
* Further evidence of management/leadership training and continuous professional development
Experience and knowledge
* Extensive experience at a senior level in a complex environment, including a sound understanding of the performance and governance requirements
* Significant track record of achievement as a leader which demonstrates significant successes through innovation and a strong but sensitive style, which contributes directly to the patient experience and continuous improvement
