ABOUT THE ROLE
Reporting to the Director of Marketing, the Marketing Manager at W Edinburgh will work in close collaboration with senior leaders throughout the property to deliver our marketing strategy.
As Marketing Manager, key aspects of your role will include:
1. Execute the annual marketing plan to budget, in consultation with the General Manager, Director of Operations, Director of Rooms, Operations leaders, Director of Marketing, and cluster marketing and ecommerce teams.
2. Partner with Operations, Beverage & Food and Sales teams to execute promotions and campaigns to target in-house guests with promotions that drive incremental revenue to the hotel.
3. Manage Beverage & Food media schedules and verify the prompt settlement of accounts.
4. Execute email marketing and display advertising.
5. Maintain frequent, active engagement with Cluster eCommerce Manager to verify alignment, pull-through, and 2-way communication about the status, performance evaluation, opportunities, and issues related to online programs and initiatives.
6. Verify all advertising for the hotel in digital channels is in alignment with brand voice.
7. Facilitate social media engagement and update content in local digital channels (., hotel website, travel sites).
8. Develop and execute promotions campaigns in Beverage & Food, Spa, Rooms and Meetings & Events through relevant digital and social media channels.
9. Engage in proactive online reputation management by surfacing relevant guest comments (positive or negative) in social media channels and respond accordingly.
