We are looking for a confident and articulate Procurement professional specialising in Logistics procurement, to join our team here at Tesco You'll be working with various customers and negotiating with suppliers across the business. Experience in logistics procurement and leading complex multi-million pound tenders is crucial. Delivering high savings targets through implementation of robust sourcing events, ensuring that suppliers meet all operational requirements whilst providing the best value for Tesco. Through influence and challenge develop strong working relationships with customers to support, endorse and deliver sub category plans aligned to category procurement strategies to realise business savings and support innovation. Building and delivering sub category plans aligned to Category Plans by being innovative and collaborative with various cross functional customers. Consistently supervise and report on savings targets for specified sub-categories using the agreed process. Using good judgement to build new and develop existing supplier relationships to ensure continued suitability and build greater value across the organisation. Supporting the business to achieve compliance with legal, ethical and safety procurement policies with integrity and good judgement. Experience of leading logistics category within large scale organisation. Procurement management and negotiation skills, experience of leading extensive multi-million pound sourcing events. Capability to lead sophisticated projects, driving innovation and standard methodology through others. Cross functional working and customer engagement. Strong influencing skills.
