Due to continued growth, we have a requirement to increase our engine consultancy team with 3 powerplant consultants. These roles will manage a variety of aircraft engine projects on behalf of WAML's customer, which require a high level of technical and commercial industry understanding.
Suitable candidates should demonstrate good transferable experience, be confident in face-to-face communications and have an analytical approach to achieve the best results.
Responsibilities
1. Act as a virtual powerplant support for airline/lessor clients.
2. Shop Visit Management
3. Table/Physical Piece Part Inspection
4. Engine Health Monitoring (EHM) / Engine Condition Monitoring (ECM) analysis.
5. Invoice Review
6. MRO Contract Negotiation and Selection
7. Engine Transition Management
8. Technical Records Due Diligence
9. Engine Physical Inspection/External Parts Inventory
10. Borescope Inspection Overview and Analysis
11. MPA/Test Cell Run Overview and Analysis
12. Lease Contract Review, Interpretation and Negotiation
13. Attendance at OEM technical conferences.
Qualifications/Requirements
1. Previous experience in a powerplant focused role is essential.
2. Degree qualified preferred.
3. Technical knowledge across CFM, P&W, GE, IAE & PR products.
4. A desire to further increase their understanding of technical and commercial engineering and financial principles relating to aero engine management.
5. Computer literate and proficient with MS Office products.
6. Able to work at our Bridgend office in UK or remotely across UK/Europe/USA.
7. International travel at short notice.
