Working from home but as part of a wider friendly and supportive team, you will provide administrative support to the council and their residents to ensure that our systems are kept up to date with the most accurate information. This role will provide the right person with scope to learn and progress whilst also allowing them to apply their skills in a rewarding and interesting setting. We are ideally looking for someone to be based in the Portsmouth area as there may be occasions when you will need to present in court. Job title: Revenues Officer Job Description: What you'll be doing: Scrutinize accounts and claims to ensure all necessary evidence and information are gathered, adhering to required standards and contract procedures. Investigate and pinpoint crucial information to validate the integrity of claims or data. Evaluate and make precise decisions within set timelines, following contract policies and procedures. Update computer records with relevant information and communicate with customers to gather necessary evidence. Offer information and advice in response to customer inquiries.
