Job Summary: Workplace, Health and Safety Manager
Manage a team to drive improvements on-site and at a regional level, maintaining high standards and fostering a culture of safety and inclusivity.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage a team on-site, collaborating with other teams across the company
* Analyse data reports and root causes to inform safety-related decisions
* Provide guidance and arrangements for health and safety projects and policies
* Drive programmes to improve the safety culture in Amazon
A Day in the Life:
This is a varied role based at one of our sites, allowing you to directly contribute to many aspects of our safety culture.
* Manage health and safety standards while improving functionality and efficiency
* Manage your team and help them implement changes in response to employee feedback or seize opportunities to continuously make process improvements

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
* Education to a degree level and additional qualifications to an NVQ5/NEBOSH Diploma level
* Relevant experience managing a team
* Relevant experience complying with local Health and Safety legislation
* Advanced proficiency in verbal and written English
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
* Experience with Lean, 5S and Kaizen methodologies
* Qualifications or experience in the field of sustainability
* Relevant experience of communicating with a wide range of stakeholders, including your peers and leadership
* Chartered membership of a Human Resources industry body (e.g., IOSH) to support people management
