Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Account Administrator to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in managing financial records and supporting the overall financial operations of the organisation. This position requires a strong understanding of Sage accounting software, Microsoft Excel, and excellent organisational skills to maintain efficient processes.
Duties
* Maintain accurate financial records and documentation for all transactions.
* Utilise accounting software such as Sage to enter data and generate reports.
* Reconcile discrepancies in financial statements and resolve any issues promptly.
* Assist with month-end closing procedures and prepare necessary reports for management.
* Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth financial operations.
* Provide support during audits by preparing required documentation and answering queries.
Experience
* Proven experience in an accounts administration role or similar position is preferred.
* Proficiency in accounting software such as Sage is essential.
* Strong understanding of accounts payable processes and financial record keeping.
* Knowledge of Microsoft Excel is needed.
* Excellent attention to detail with strong analytical skills.
* Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
* Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, to liaise effectively with colleagues and management.
