VANRATH are delighted to be assisting our client, a large Public Sector Organisation with the recruitment of an Office Manager to join their team based in Belfast.
This is a Full-Time Monday - Friday position. 37.5 hours per week. Monday - Friday 9 - 5.
Salary: £28,407 per annum, plus benefits.
Responsibilities:
* Lead the administrative functions for senior leadership, improving service quality and efficiency.
* Manage incoming correspondence and draft responses for approval.
* Address queries from internal and external stakeholders, ensuring timely resolution.
* Coordinate responses to Freedom of Information requests.
* Manage travel approvals and requisitions in line with departmental procedures.
* Oversee office supplies, stock control, and office maintenance.
* Supervise administrative staff and develop internal procedures.
* Assist in completing performance appraisals and setting objectives for senior staff.
* Monitor administrative processes and recommend improvements.
Essential Criteria:
* University degree with 1 year of supervisory experience OR 5 years of relevant administrative experience, including 2 years of staff supervision.
* Ability to take minutes at meetings.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite e.g., Word processing, creating spreadsheets, email management, creating databases, PowerPoint presentations.
* Full UK driving license or access to alternative approved transport.
Desirable Skills:
* Previous experience of relevant HSC systems and processes.
