PURPOSE
To fulfill customer product quality and delivery requirements by utilizing appropriate skills and adhering to the defined Technical Assembly Data.
PRINCIPAL TASKS
1. Read and understand Engineering Drawings and Specifications.
2. Perform assembly operations using approved tools and equipment safely and efficiently, following Technical Assembly Data criteria.
3. Ensure the quality of own work by following quality procedures and reporting any concerns to the Supervisor or designated Quality personnel.
4. Conduct routine and minor maintenance of designated equipment, maintain excellent housekeeping in the assembly area, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance safety, quality, delivery, and reduce costs.
5. Undertake necessary training to perform tasks to a high standard.
6. Ensure all health & safety aspects are considered during daily duties.
7. Perform any other reasonable tasks, including assisting other sections as needed.
NECESSARY REQUIREMENTS FOR THE POSITION:
1. Strong electro-mechanical assembly background, with preferred solid previous experience.
2. Ability to perform electrical wiring and termination, electrical testing and fault finding, vacuum leak testing, and pressure testing.
3. Compliance with manufacturing instructions and Standard Operating Procedures.
4. Good communication skills and a quality-driven mindset.
5. Ability to meet deadlines in a proactive, quality- and time-focused production environment.
6. Willingness to be flexible and undertake training to acquire new skills.
