Data Lead – Data Migration, Data Analysis, CAFM, SQL, BPSS Clearance, MS Excel, Data Dictionary, Data Cleansing, Data Transition, Jira, Azure –Surrey/Hybrid – £62.50 per hour | £500 per day
We are seeking an experienced Data Lead to support a major public sector programme. This is an exciting opportunity to take ownership of critical data migration and transition processes for a high-impact, large-scale project.
Key Skills & Experience:
* Experience in data migration and transition within complex programmes.
* Knowledge of CAFM software or FM contract data.
* Strong skills in SQL and MS Excel (including Macros and Pivot Tables).
* Proven ability to produce analytics and reports for stakeholders.
* Experience transitioning data between systems, aligning data with business processes.
* Familiarity with Jira Kanban boards and Azure hosting technologies.
Technical Knowledge:
* Intermediate MS Excel (Macros, Pivot Tables).
* Basic SQL knowledge.
* Knowledge of Jira Kanban or similar tools.
* Understanding of Azure and virtualized hosting technologies.
Responsibilities:
* Develop and maintain Data Dictionaries to support data migration and transition planning.
* Analyse data requirements, identifying gaps between current and new specifications.
* Manage data sources, ensuring security and availability for development teams.
* Support development and testing with synthetic or actual data.
* Lead governance processes and establish relationships to ensure data accuracy and compliance.
* Plan and deliver data migration tasks, including transitioning operational data.
* Prepare data for live environments and lead hypercare reconciliation exercises.
* Identify risks and issues, maintaining the RAID log.
* Deliver data products required for quality gateway assessments.
Candidates must hold or be eligible for BPSS security clearance, with a minimum of five years of UK residency.
Location: Hybrid – Surrey, London & Remote
