Job Description
We are looking for a caring and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our supportive and inclusive school community in Doncaster. The successful candidate will assist teachers in delivering engaging lessons, providing support to students, and helping to create a positive learning environment.
Key Responsibilities
Classroom Support: Assist the classroom teacher in preparing materials, setting up activities, and supporting lesson delivery.
Student Assistance: Provide one-on-one or small group support to students who may need additional help.
Behavior Management: Help maintain a positive classroom atmosphere and support students with behavior management, encouraging positive interactions and engagement.
Learning Environment: Contribute to creating an organized, safe, and inclusive classroom environment.
Administrative Support: Assist with administrative tasks such as marking, preparing displays, and record-keeping as needed.
Requirements
Experience working with children, preferably in an educational setting.
A minimum Level 2 Teaching Assistant qualification (or a willingness to work towards it).
Strong communication skills and a collaborative, flexible approach.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for working with children.
Knowledge of the National Curriculum and safeguarding guidelines is a plus.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
