SERVICE ADVISOR
Location of the Vehicle Service Advisor: Telford
Salary of the Vehicle Service Advisor: £28,000.00 - £30,000.00 pa
Hours of work: Monday to Friday 08:00am - 17:30pm plus 1 Saturday morning a month
The role of the Service Advisor:
Reporting directly to the Depot Manager or Service Manager, the Service Advisor will be responsible for the day to day administration and customer service for the workshop. The list of duties is subject to change and on occasions you may be required to carry out other duties due to business needs.
Tasks of the Service Advisor:
1. Input and create work orders on system
2. Allocate work to mechanics on a daily basis
3. Greeting customers
4. Issue purchase orders to suppliers
5. Deal with reported defects and arrange attendance for breakdown calls
6. Goods receipt and close purchase orders
7. Input labour hours and description of work
8. Complete work orders and close jobs
9. Handling of incoming telephone calls
10. Arrange quotes for repairs
11. Obtain purchase orders for recharges
12. General depot administration
13. Obtain and collate recharge information
14. Planning of service inspections and MOT's
15. Workshop filing
16. Control flow and process of all WIP
17. Health and Safety compliance
The ideal Service Advisor will have previous experience working in a dealership or fleet/workshop environment, dealing with vehicle advising and booking vehicles in for repair and maintenance.
