We have an opportunity for a Head of Retrofit Delivery to joins us, based from our Basingstoke office.The roleResponsible for the delivery of extensive retrofit programmes of work that ensure SNG's homes and place standard meets SNG's corporate objective of net zero 2050. The successful applicant will work with internal stakeholders, specialist energy modelling consultants and use the latest digital asset data.This role will develop the programme delivery of a (25 year) phased whole house retrofit programme for c84,000 homes delivering to the strategic intent of SNG's strategic asset management programme and the outcomes defined within our homes and place standard.Responsibilities include:Working at senior level in planning and managing multiple complex retrofit projects, within agreed governance structures. With particular emphasis around our SHDF and net zero ambitions.Owning the delivery programme roll-out and manage investment planning and prepare, execute, and manage contract and project documentation.Responsibility for working with SNG's external PAS 2030/2035 retrofit team (advisor, assessors, co-ordinator, designers, evaluator etc) and the SNG procurement team.Preparing, controlling and approvals for annual budgets, ensuring appropriate monitoring of expenditure and compliance with procedures, levels of authority and audit requirements.Responsibility for management of the capital and revenue spend for these programmes of retrofit works.What we're looking for:Good practical knowledge of building regulations, codes of practice, PAS 2030/2035, Trust Mark Standard, MCS and British Standards etc.Professional qualification in built environment, surveying, building discipline or qualified by experience.Well-developed understanding of retrofit, particularly the pivotal position of the Retrofit coordinator and other roles, their responsibilities.Demonstrable practical experience of the maintenance of capital works to housing stock.Experience preparing reports and monitoring programmes / budgets.What you can expect from us:450 flex-pot annually, discounted shopping & cycling scheme25 Days Holiday Bank Holidays (with an extra day every year up to 30 days)Company pension scheme matched up to 12%, life cover at 4x your salaryFlexible working - we're committed to giving people flexibility as widely as possiblePrivate medical insurance, dental insurance & critical illness coverWide range of training courses available to support your career developmentSalary:Circa 75,000 Location:Basingstoke Vacancy type:Permanent Closing Date:12 January 2025
