As a Catering Team Member, you will be helping to provide our visitors a first-class experience within our catering outlets. Reporting to the Senior managers within your outlet, you will be responsible for preparing and serving food, taking payments from visitors, clearing and cleaning tables, helping to wash up, and generally keeping up with cleaning standards.
Role Responsibilities
* Contributing to the daily operations and any tasks deemed appropriate.
* Ensuring that all guests receive a warm, friendly and memorable welcome.
* Maintaining the cleanliness of all equipment and catering outlets.
* Providing a good knowledge of services, products and the law around food and hygiene.
* Entering sales on cash registers and handling customer payments.
* Working within different catering outlets around the Zoo.
Role Requirements
* Previous experience within the catering industry is desirable but not required.
* Training on Food Hygiene and Natasha’s law will be provided.
* Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
* Ability to work both within a team and individually.
Working Hours
This is a zero-hour position. Applicants must be available to work at weekends and across holiday periods after completing a probationary period. Weekday term time availability is also desirable.
