Campus Services THE POST - Residence Services Manager The University of West of Scotland have an exciting opportunity to join our Campus Services team as a Residence Services Manager. Within this role the successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the residences across our Paisley Campus. Leading the Residences Team, the postholder will play a key part in ensuring that all matters relating to residential services are managed effectively and in line with operational requirements. They will direct the efforts of both the in-house team and external contractors to allow the best possible service to the residents in a safe, welcoming, supportive and pleasant environment which facilitates academic and personal development. The Residence Services Manager will be responsible for the financial management of the budget within their respective area and will ensure that financial targets are met as well as explore potential areas which could be more efficient within the Residences department. Collaborating with a number of different departments across the university the post holder will be required to build strong working relationships to ensure positive outcomes for staff and students. The successful candidate should have the following: A Degree in a relevant subject (or extensive experience). Relevant experience and track record of working in a commercially driven, customer-oriented role within the Accommodation sector, with significant and relevant leadership, team and change management experience. A working knowledge of budget management and resource planning.
