A leading provider of animal care in Bridgwater, Somerset, is seeking an enthusiastic ECC Night Veterinary Surgeon. This opportunity is with a Small Animal Hospital that has achieved the highest accredited standard awarded by the Royal College of Veterinary Surgeons (RCVS), a feat accomplished by only 7% of accredited veterinary practices in the UK.
The Role:
The successful candidate will join an innovative Out of Hours (OOH) team at a Centre of Excellence that prides itself on high clinical standards and a supportive ethos. The role entails weekend and holiday cover, working alongside a dedicated Night Nurse, a Phone Triage Nurse, and a Twilight ACA, with occasionally an additional Twilight Vet.
Rota:
* Friday and Saturday, 7 pm-8.30 am (2 nights), two weekends on and then two off.
* Opportunity to pick additional night shifts for holiday cover if desired.
* The hospital is open to discussing hours and days, offering flexibility for the right candidate.
About the Practice:
This veterinary hospital consists of a team of 8 vets, 12 nurses, and support staff, offering a comprehensive range of services. Their facilities include an in-house laboratory, ultrasound, digital radiography, and endoscopic equipment. They provide 24-hour on-site emergency care, ensuring the best possible response to critical cases. The hospital is also a registered veterinary nurse training centre. This role presents the opportunity to work in a historic market town with easy access to the coast and just an hour's drive from bustling Bristol, not to mention the proximity to Glastonbury!
