A leading provider of international summer school programmes is seeking an outstanding Student Services Manager to lead a dedicated team in ensuring world-class support for students attending our prestigious residential courses in Oxford, Cambridge, and London.
About the Role
As Student Services Manager, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing student support services, managing a high-performing team, and ensuring smooth operations that contribute to an outstanding student experience.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead & Develop the Student Services Team – Recruit, train, and manage a team dedicated to supporting international students.
Student Enquiries & Support – Act as the primary point of contact, resolving student concerns efficiently and effectively.
Communication with Students & Parents – Ensure timely, proactive, and clear communication throughout the student journey.
Student Information Management – Oversee the collection and organisation of crucial student data to ensure their safety and wellbeing.
Feedback & Continuous Improvement – Gather and evaluate student feedback, implementing improvements to enhance future experiences.
Financial Reporting – Monitor student payments, create reports, and provide updates to the finance team.
Coordinate Student Arrivals – Support airport transfers and oversee seamless student arrivals during the summer months.
About You
We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented leader who thrives in a fast-paced, student-focused environment.
Essential Skills & Experience:
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to manage and resolve student queries diplomatically.
Experience in a leadership or managerial role.
Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail.
Proficiency in IT, including Excel and/or Google Sheets.
Confidence with numerical data and financial reporting.
Desirable Skills & Experience:
Previous experience in student services, hospitality, or a customer service environment.
Knowledge of the summer school industry.
Experience using CRM systems such as Salesforce, and collaboration tools like Google Suite and Slack.
Understanding of delivering services to international students and high-net-worth individuals.
