Your Team
You will join our Safety Engineering Team where we are developing the safety concepts, solutions and argumentation in order to achieve safety and unlock autonomy through safety engineering.
Your Role
As our Safety and Cyber Security Engineer, you will work to develop cyber safety considerations for the Core Safety Case of our products. You will work closely with core safety engineers on our platform safety and also with application safety engineers (e.g. customer projects) to map the Core Safety Case to their specific domains and also the Autonomy Assurance team to align on regulations pertaining to safety relevant cyber security.
In this role, you will:
* Perform and support safety focused cyber security analyses: TARA, attack trees etc.
* Perform safety relevant cyber security requirements elicitation and derivation, cascade and monitor their delivery.
* Implement and / or support developers in implementing safety relevant cyber security mitigations.
* Recommend and implement appropriate cyber security standards and processes in support of Oxa’s safety approach.
* Act as a central source of knowledge on safety relevant cyber security topics, and collaborate with the wider business and cyber security team to support meeting relevant safety and cyber security legislation and regulations.
* Lead the technical assessment of the impact of cyber security on safety relevant architecture and components and negotiate solutions with component and architecture stakeholders.
* Support safety relevant cyber security validation.
* Support the safety argumentation related to cyber security threats and vulnerabilities.
What you need to succeed:
* Degree in a relevant field such as engineering or science.
* Cyber security background with a focus on safety.
* Practical experience in cyber threats identification, cyber security analyses, risk assessment etc.
* Understanding of how cyber security vulnerabilities can potentially lead to safety relevant hazardous scenarios.
* Experience in different methods for cyber security mitigations and understand the associated benefits and challenges with each type.
* Build networks and engage across multi discipline teams.
* Experience in metrics and data analysis.
* Formal experience/knowledge of ISO 21434.
Extra kudos:
* Experience in research and development, autonomous driving.
* Familiar with ISO 26262, ISO 21448, UL4600, PAS 1881:2022, SAE J3016.
