Job Description:
A fantastic new job opportunity has become available for a committed Hospitality Manager to work in an amazing care home based in Altrincham, Greater Manchester. You will be working for one of UK’s leading health care providers.
This care home specializes in general & dementia nursing, residential, and respite care for the elderly.
To be considered for this position, you must have experience in Hospitality Management.
As the Hospitality Manager, your key responsibilities include:
* Developing a service experience aligned with our family vision and values, emphasizing compassion, empathy, and transparency.
* Fostering a positive working environment for staff, promoting teamwork, continuous improvement, and high-quality service.
* Ensuring residents have an exceptional experience, with their needs met and expectations exceeded.
* Managing the food service operation, collaborating with the executive chef on menu planning, preparation, and delivery of quality meals.
* Developing and maintaining engaging activities tailored to residents' interests that promote health and wellness.
* Maintaining a positive first impression experience.
* Overseeing housekeeping to ensure high standards of cleanliness and hygiene.
The following skills and experience are preferred:
* Excellent people management skills to motivate and inspire staff.
* Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Understanding of first impressions and guest experience management.
* Knowledge of food service operations and nutritional requirements.
* Understanding of the needs of older adults and ability to develop engaging activities.
* Knowledge of housekeeping, cleaning, hygiene, and infection control.
* Budget management skills to control costs while maintaining service quality.
The successful candidate will receive a salary of £33,000 per annum. This full-time, permanent role involves working 40 hours per week from 9 am to 5 pm. Benefits include:
