Burmantofts Community Friends, a small local lead charity, supports older adults (60+, soon to be 55+) with social opportunities and early intervention community care. Primarily funded by Leeds City Council, we operate in the LS9 area of East Leeds to promote social inclusion and independence. Our team includes a Project Manager, Service Coordinator, Wellbeing Worker, Project Administrator, Volunteer Coordinator, and Outreach/Digital Engagement Worker. With a focus on reducing isolation and improving digital access and living conditions, we aim to be a supportive and friendly presence in the community.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role located in the Greater Leeds Area for an Operations Manager. The Operations Manager will oversee daily operations, manage staff, and coordinate with partner organizations. Tasks include ensuring efficient service delivery, managing budgets, reporting, and contributing to strategic planning. The role involves direct engagement with local residents and stakeholders to align services with community needs.
