Job Description Job Title: Social Media and Events Manager Location: Hybrid Type: Full-time Salary: £23,000 - £30,000 per annum Start Date: Immediate Role Overview: We are a growing and dynamic £100m turnover construction company, seeking an experienced and creative Social Media and Events Manager to elevate our brand's presence and manage client-facing events. In this role, you will be responsible for curating content, managing our social media channels, and organizing engaging client events. Key Responsibilities: • Develop and implement a strategic social media plan that aligns with business objectives to enhance online visibility and engagement. • Source, create, and publish high-quality content across social media platforms, including Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube, ensuring a consistent brand voice. • Engage with followers, respond to queries, and nurture a positive community environment. • Track and report on social media performance, using analytics tools to adjust strategies and enhance engagement. • Coordinate and organize client events, including corporate hospitality, team-building activities, and client appreciation events. • Work closely with marketing and project teams to ensure social media content reflects our business activities, including new project launches and ongoing work. • Assist in creating promotional materials and campaigns that align with company branding. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, or a related field. • Minimum of 2 years of experience managing social media accounts for a business or brand. • Proven ability in content creation, including photography, videography, and written content. • Strong understanding of social media analytics and reporting. • Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines. • Up-to-date with the latest social media trends and best practices. • Excellent communication skills and a keen eye for detail.
