Description
The starting salary for this role is £35,730 per annum based on a 36-hour working week. This is a 12-month fixed term contract/ secondment opportunity until 31st March 2026.
We are excited to be hiring a new Enterprise Triage and Information Officer to join our fantastic team and support Surrey businesses to grow and thrive.
This role offers a unique opportunity to support Surrey businesses by helping them navigate the complex business support landscape. With a focus on managing information to ensure a high-quality service, meeting targets, and delivering well-attended business events, it plays a key role in driving economic growth. The role is hybrid with at least one day in Woodhatch (usually Tuesday), combined with regular attendance at meetings, workshops and events across the county.
About the Role
As the Enterprise Triage and Information Officer, your role will be pivotal in delivering economic initiatives and activities that help us achieve against the priorities set out in Surrey's emerging Economic Strategy and in line with the One-Council approach.
You will be responsible for managing information flows for businesses accessing services through Business Surrey (www.businesssurrey.co.uk) – Surrey's one-stop-shop to help businesses thrive and grow.
You will work with colleagues across the Economy and Growth service to deliver one-to-many training sessions for businesses and one-to-one business surgeries with our mentors and specialist advisors. You will manage data and information accurately to ensure that we are delivering high-quality outcomes for our businesses and are able to report them accurately to funders.

* A strong track record of providing face-to-face and online support to businesses
* Ability to work with partners to deliver new responses and initiatives for businesses
* Collaborative, outcomes-focused and ambitious approach, proactively working with others to adopt horizontal ways of working and contribute to the delivery of economic outcomes and a One Council approach
