Job Responsibilities
Responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to:
1. Growing sensor sales revenue in regional and global key accounts
2. Establishing and maintaining relationships with other Danfoss sales teams
3. Working with and through Danfoss sales teams and customers to understand customer applications and needs for Sensing products
4. Driving OEM and distribution sales within the HVAC/R segment
5. Managing the sales cycle from opportunity identification to cash generation by prescribing and quoting Sensing products, and developing value propositions for customers and account managers
6. Developing and maintaining action plans for key OEMs with changing conditions and objectives
7. Reviewing relevant opportunities in Salesforce, both directly owned and shared
8. Developing strategic segment pricing, programs, and promotions as needed
9. Generating sales and demand forecasts aligned with business plans and market conditions
10. Coordinating sales and support activities with application engineers
11. Obtaining and communicating key industry, segment, and competitor trends
12. Coordinating MarCom activities with marketing to attract and support distributors, including shows, advertising, virtual events, and online content
13. Leading and facilitating seamless coordination between sales and other departments such as product management, logistics, customer service, and engineering
Candidate Skills and Qualifications
* Experience in B2B, OEM manufacturing sales or support functions
* Bachelor’s degree or equivalent in engineering, business, marketing, economics, or finance
* Creative, action-oriented, and able to multitask
* Strong communication skills, professional and tenacious
* Experience in HVAC & Water markets is preferred
* Ability to work in a matrixed environment, developing relationships with multiple stakeholders
* Hands-on experience with CRM software, MS Office 365, SAP, and Salesforce
