Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Nursery Manager to support and lead the Nursery in day-to-day management. You will need to have experience running large nurseries, working with budgets, marketing your nursery, growing occupancy, and leading and supporting your team. Ideally, you will have taken a nursery through a recent Ofsted Inspection. The position is for a 38-hour week, with a salary of up to £45k depending on experience, together with great benefits and onsite parking.
Based in Wendover, within walking distance of the mainline train station at Stoke Mandeville and an easy commute from Aylesbury, our purpose-built 101 place nursery houses a bespoke sensory room, as well as a drama and art studio. The nursery offers ample secure outdoor space with rolling countryside views. Requirements
1. Have at least 4 years of working within full day-care Nursery settings.
2. Have managed a nursery setting and ideally have taken a nursery setting through an Ofsted Inspection.
3. Can inspire a team and lead by example.
4. Provide stimulating and purposeful experiences, environments, and resources to children that are appropriate to their age and stage of development.
5. Enhance the all-around daily needs of children, including their physical, intellectual, social, and emotional development.
6. Assist with embedding an effective key person approach to enable children to form secure attachments.
7. Ensure the safety and well-being of every child, staff, parent, and visitor at all times.
8. Understand and ensure that the requirements of the statutory framework for the EYFS are met.
9. Qualified to level 3 or above with at least 6 years' experience of working in a Nursery.
