The Opportunity
We are looking for an accounts payable specialist who can join the team on a temporary basis to deliver a suite of process improvements, whilst concurrently assisting with day-to-day accounts payable activities.
Key Responsibilities
* Accounts Payable responsibilities: Working with stakeholders and managing the supplier account, you will assist with the management of email inboxes and expense processing and payments. You will also be responsible for bank payment administration and approvals, alongside the processing and uploading of invoices.
* Delivery of process improvements: Process improvement is key to us in this role. You will be focusing on system optimisation and financial control implementation, automated payment run implementation, invoice scanning software implementation, automated remittance implementation and root cause analysis of suspense account posting and sweeps.
About You
* You know the role: Recent experience of Accounts Receivable and Treasury functions, with a deep-rooted understanding of the Accounts Payable function.
* You’re passionate about managing stakeholders: Recent and relevant experience of managing wide-ranging and challenging stakeholders.
* Managing change comes naturally: Ability to demonstrate experience of process evaluation, successful change management implementations and project management.
* You ensure processes are customer-centric: Strong attention to detail and process, underpinned by a customer excellence mindset.
* You know your way around the software ecosystem: Experience of using accounting software (Exchequer experience is beneficial).
