Community Support Service Volunteer (CSS) Norwich
Volunteers are needed to help people in the Norwich community with essential food shopping, help around the house, delivering food parcels, and more.
Detailed description
Volunteers can assist individuals adjusting after hospital discharge or those facing difficult times. Many people are in need of companionship and assistance with household tasks, collecting essentials, or walking their dogs if they are unable to do so themselves.
As a Community Support Service Volunteer, you can sign up for one-off activities or ongoing support for someone over a few weeks. You can choose activities based on your interests, location, and availability.
Committing just 30 minutes a week can make a significant difference in someone's life.
You will be supported throughout the recruitment process by a local Volunteer Connector. Some training will be required, along with a DBS check, and we will need you to provide us with two references.
