Production Assembler
Temp to Perm - Andover
Paying £11.44 per hour
Our client, a well-established organisation specialising in manufacturing, is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Production Assembler to join their team. This is a temporary position with the opportunity for permanent employment based on performance.
Responsibilities:
1. Prepare work by studying assembly instructions and following detailed procedures. Full training will be provided to the successful candidate.
2. Position parts and produce sub assemblies by using templates or reading measurements accurately.
3. Verify specifications by product code, ensuring that each product meets the established standards.
4. Assemble products in the correct order and to a high standard, following precise instructions to ensure accuracy and consistency.
5. Perform testing to ensure that each task is completed with the highest level of quality.
6. Work towards and meet established productivity targets, contributing to the overall success of the team.
Requirements:
1. Prior experience as a Production Assembler is preferred, but not mandatory as full training will be provided.
2. Strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions accurately.
3. Good time management skills and the ability to work efficiently to meet deadlines.
4. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively as part of a team.
5. Basic mathematical skills and the ability to read and understand measurements.
6. Reliable and punctual, with a strong work ethic and a positive attitude.
