Job Description:
We are seeking a highly skilled Solution Architect - Hospitality/Retail Systems focusing on e2e Solution Architecting for a Large Programme initiative to integrate POS system (Simphony) with Finance, HR (Ceredian DayForce), Inventory Mgmt, and PMS - Opera System. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in solution architecture, integration design, and a deep understanding of the hospitality/retail industry.
Key Responsibilities
1. Design and develop the overall solution architecture for large Hospitality/Retail Programmes (including POS (Simphony/other), Finance, HR, PMS (Opera)).
2. Responsible for creating Outline Specification Document (OSD), HLD & LLD.
3. Responsible to design Transition Architecture (as an intermediary state) when both old and new systems will coexist in different properties.
4. Create detailed technical specifications, Data flow/Data mapping, and integration plans for Simphony with PMS, HR System, Inventory Mgmt, and Finance.
5. Collaborate with IT teams, hotel operations, and third-party vendors to ensure seamless integration.
6. Develop and maintain system documentation, including architecture diagrams and process flows.
7. Provide expert guidance on best practices for Simphony configuration and customization.
8. Troubleshoot complex issues and provide solution designs.
9. Experience in inventory management solutions and integrating them with Simphony.
Qualifications
1. Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
2. 10+ years of experience in solution architecture, preferably in the hospitality or retail industry.
3. Proven experience with POS implementation and deployment in multi-property environments.
4. Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
5. Outstanding communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Skills
1. Proficiency in Simphony/POS architecture and related technologies.
2. Strong knowledge of API integrations and E2E data flow design.
3. Familiarity with building scalable system design.
4. Experience in building Solution documents, Integration design documents, and taking to Architecture board for review.
5. Understanding of hospitality industry standards and compliance requirements.
