I'm pleased to be supporting them in their search for a creative and data-driven Digital Merchandiser to join their dynamic team, helping them to optimise their online customer experience.
As a Digital Merchandiser, you will be responsible for optimising the online product assortment, driving sales through effective product placement, and enhancing the overall shopping experience on their digital platforms. You'll work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing, product, and analytics, to ensure our online store is visually appealing, easy to navigate, and aligned with their business strategy.
Digital Merchandiser Key Responsibilities:
1. Manage and optimise the online product catalogue, ensuring accuracy and consistency of product descriptions, images, pricing, and inventory levels.
2. Develop and execute merchandising strategies to maximise sales, conversion rates, and average order value.
3. Analyse sales data, customer behaviour, and market trends to identify opportunities for product placement, promotions, and inventory adjustments.
4. Collaborate with cross functional teams to plan and execute digital campaigns, including product launches, seasonal promotions, and special events.
5. Monitor website performance, user experience, and product visibility to continuously improve the online shopping journey.
6. Work closely with the cross-functional teams to align online merchandising strategies with overall brand vision and goals.
7. Ensure all digital merchandising aligns with SEO best practices to drive organic traffic and improve search rankings.
8. Stay updated on industry trends, competitor activities, and emerging technologies to keep our digital merchandising strategy ahead of the curve.
Digital Merchandising Experience and Qualifications:
1. 2+ years of experience in digital merchandising, e-commerce, or a similar role.
2. Strong analytical skills with experience in data-driven decision-making. The ability to use Google Analytics at an intermediate level is highly desirable, and experience in Content Square is preferable.
3. Excellent attention to detail and a keen eye for aesthetics.
4. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
5. Strong communication and collaboration skills.
6. A passion for e-commerce and a deep understanding of online shopping behaviours.
