The Company
ATA have partnered with the UK’s leading manufacturer supplying into the biggest names within the build and construction sectors. They have just moved to a brand new fully automated site which was completed last April. My client is growing and is now recruiting for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to oversee a team of 3 engineers.
This role would suit an existing leader or someone with a proven track record of overseeing between 3-6 at a time.
As the Maintenance Supervisor, you will be responsible for your team whilst also being hands-on to ensure maximum efficiency of the machinery.
Responsibilities:
1. Supervising a team of 3 engineers
2. Scheduling planned preventative maintenance
3. Mentoring and developing team members
4. Ensuring your team is in the best position to carry out their work to the best of their ability
5. Conducting reactive and planned maintenance
6. Fault finding on electrical and mechanical components
7. Replacing parts like for like
8. Ensuring permit to work is in place and adhered to, ensuring contracts and colleagues can work safely
The ideal candidate for this Maintenance Supervisor position must have the following skills, abilities, and qualifications:
1. Must have a recognised electrical or mechanical qualification (apprenticeship, NVQ level 3, BTEC, ONC, C&G, HNC, HND)
2. Must be able to fault find with a multimeter and swap out components
3. Experience of working within an FMCG, Food or manufacturing environment is desirable but not essential
4. A positive can-do attitude
