Job Summary:
Ever wondered how oil companies know where to drill for oil? Geosolutions geophysicists in the oil and gas industry play a vital role in leveraging seismic data to improve exploration and production efficiency, optimize reservoir recovery, and maximize hydrocarbon recovery from subsurface reservoirs. From the field, recording seismic sound waves onshore or offshore, a geosolutions geophysicist processes those recorded sound waves using complex algorithms and physics of the earth to create a picture of the subsurface. We design innovative workflows tailored to solve client challenges. A typical project consists of several geophysicists working together as a unified team to provide an accurate image of the subsurface.
