About the role
The purpose of this role is to provide best practice, governance and compliance to the Board of Trustees, the Chief Executive and Executive Directors. This covers governance, administration, regulatory compliance, and policy development.
The post holder will lead the charity’s governance risk management systems and serve as Shaftesbury’s Corporate Governance Lead.
We are looking for someone with significant knowledge of the charity sector and regulation associated with the social care and/or special education sectors.
Experience of corporate and/or charity governance and writing clear and concise papers, including reports, agendas and minutes is also essential for this position.
Please note this role is a hybrid home/London office position.
