Key Aspects of the Role:
Supplier Management:
* Discover profitable suppliers and initiate business and organization partnerships.
* Negotiate with suppliers to secure advantageous terms.
* Perform risk management for supply contracts and agreements
* Examine and test existing contracts.
* Regularly evaluate supplier performance and maintain a preferred supplier register.
* Collaborate with suppliers to ensure clarity of supply and expectations of the company.
* Agree and keep a running record of rebate agreements with suppliers, where applicable.
Team Management:
1. Control spend and build a culture of long-term savings on procurement costs.
2. Manage team performance, ensuring that the team is achieving KPIs and performing optimally.
