Job Title: Refrigeration Engineer-PPM\nLocation: South Yorkshire/Notts and Derby- PA24\nWorking Hours: 42.5 Hours Per Week (8:30-17:30)\nSalary: £43,014.50 Total Salary (Inclusive of Standby Payment), Overtime, Travel Time, 33 Days Holiday, Private Pension & Benefits - Including Private Health Care, Life Insurance, Employee Discounts\nThis is a key position, carrying out planned PPM across multiple site locations. This will include some periods supporting operational delivery in response to reactive maintenance, mainly during the summer months and peak trading times.\nEngineering teams provide a 24-hour service cover throughout the year to customer’s equipment through the use of planned and extended working hours including participation in standby rota procedures.\nTherefore, you will be required to assist with a minimum of 4 weeks of standby periods to suit the needs of the business annually.\nEach standby period is one full week to include evenings and weekends.\nKey Accountabilities:\n• To ensure PPM schedules are completed within agreed timescales and that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures.\n• Complete reactive work to agreed timescales and ensure that all necessary paperwork is completed accurately and to the laid-down procedures.\n• Identify non-repairable faults promptly advise the Line manager of findings, with recommendations regarding suitable replacements.\n• Ensure that all technical and compliance paperwork is always completed and up to date.\n• Requirement to participate on an out of hours standby rota - minimum of 4 x standby period annually. Responsible for arranging & communication of any cover required due to holidays/ unforeseen circumstances to line manager.\nKnowledge, Skills and Abilities:\nEssential:\n• NVQ/C&G Refrigeration\n• Refrigerant Handling C&G 2079 or equivalent CITB certificate\n• Time Served Apprenticeship\nDesirable:\n• Hydrocarbon refrigerant certification\n• C02 Refrigerant Training\n• Commercial/Supermarket\n• Hydrocarbon Refrigerant Training\n• C02 Refrigerant Training\nThe ideal candidate:\n• Good communication skills (written and verbal)\n• 5+ years’ experience\n• Full driving licence
