We are recruting for a Maintenance Electrician for a well established client of ours based in Birmingham.\nPackage:\n- Salary; £36,563 per annum plus On-call payment of £1950 per annum for being On-call 1 week in 4.\n- Overtime paid at 1.5 x hourly rate (time and a half) after 37.5 hours worked.\n- Normal hours will be 08:00 – 16:00, from Monday to Friday.\n- 30 minutes travel time each way per day in their own time.\n- Company Van provided by the company.\n- Company Pension.\n- Uniform & PPE provided by the company.\n- Private Health Care.\n- Death in Service.\nRole Overview:\nCarrying our EICR’s, PAT Testing, Fire Alarm Inspections, Emergency Lighting Inspections. The work will be a combination of Planned & Reactive Maintenance along with Remedial Works and general works installations. The role will primarily be working across our Hospitality, Retail and Leisure clients.\nJob Description:\n- Provide Planned and Reactive Electrical Maintenance across multiple sites & sectors\n- Deliver Planned Preventative Maintenance, Reactive Repairs and Installation works across various asset types such as but not limited to: Lighting systems\n- Electrical Distribution Boards & Associated Circuits\n- Fire & Intruder Alarm systems\n- Pumps, Motors and associated Control systems\n- Building Management Systems\n- PAT Testing\n- HVAC systems\n- EV systems\n- Fault finding and repairs on electrical equipment & systems\n- Carry out alterations, installations and electrical testing in accordance with specification and legislation\n- Responding promptly and positively to reactive call requests from our Helpdesk Team\n- Provide On-call Service as part of a call-out rota\n- Compilation of quotes for installation & repairs works; specifically outlining the quantities of materials and labour times required\n- Identify non-repairable issues and promptly advise the Contract Manager of findings and recommendations\n- Required to travel to various locations in order to fulfil their allocated task\n- Follow instructions from Line Manager regarding scheme and scope of works\n- Carry out tasks in accordance with the Service Level Agreements (SLA’s)\n- Monitor and update the CAFM system\n- Liaise with our Health and Safety Forum and Human Resource to engage with Learning and Development in accordance with Site Safety Regulations; keeping them up to date as required.\n- Look to Sustainably use resources/materials and recycle where possible\n- Always represent the company in a professional and positive manner to internal and external personnel\n- Any other duties which are required by the business and within the scope of the role\nQualifications:\n- 18th Edition, NVQ Level 3, AM2, City & Guilds 2391 (essential), Inspection & Testing experience (essential)\nOur client is looking for candidates who are focused on delivering great customer service with a flexible, can-do attitude.\nApply now
