Hours: 30 hours per week, 41 weeks per year (working hours from 9.30am to 4.30pm with 1 hour lunch) Monday to Friday
Grade: APTC 4 Point 7, FTE £29,346 p.a.
Actual Salary: £22,090 p.a.

This is a successful school with supportive governors and very special pupils. We have a new opportunity for a confident and creative individual who can demonstrate strong people skills and who is also good with numbers and proficient in Excel.
We are seeking to appoint an Administrative Assistant to support the Finance team in the operation of financial systems, processes and procedures as well as providing support on the school's reception, support to the Headteacher, and carrying out general administrative tasks.
The successful candidate will have a strong administrative background with proven experience working with financial systems and MS Office software, including Excel. You will have exceptional attention to detail and organisational skills and will need to communicate confidently with a variety of stakeholders both internally and externally, face to face, over the phone, and in written correspondence.
The main responsibilities for the role:
* Operate the computerized personnel, payroll, and financial information systems
* Receive, record, and process incoming payments
* Collect debts and payments due
* Use spreadsheet software to support the budgeting and accounting needs of the school
* Be present at the main school reception as required in order to welcome visitors
* Manage calls and visitors to the school according to safeguarding procedures
* Provide administrative support to the Headteacher
* Liaise and direct agency/temporary staff to appropriate classes
* Plan, organise, and prepare paperwork and communicate key/essential information for meetings
* Analyse data and prepare information appropriate to the audience in a variety of creative formats including Word, Excel, PDF, PowerPoint, and other reports
