Their aim is to find practical solutions to problems and to give straightforward and understandable legal advice.
On behalf of our client, we are looking to recruit a Legal Cashier to join them on a full-time, permanent basis. Ideally you will have experience in a solicitors’ accounts department, or in dealing with solicitors’ accounts, or have suitable accounting qualifications.
As a valued member of the team, the successful candidate will excel in a fast-paced environment and collaborate effectively with colleagues. You must be able to demonstrate:
1. Attention to Detail: Essential for maintaining accurate financial records.
2. Numeracy: Strong numerical skills to handle transactions and reconcile accounts.
3. Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with legal accounting rules (e.g., SRA Accounts Rules).
4. IT Proficiency: Skilled in legal accounting software and tools like Excel.
5. Communication: Ability to liaise with fee earners, clients, and external auditors effectively.
6. Problem-Solving: Resolving financial discrepancies efficiently.
