The Role This pivotal role, is going to be a lynchpin function for the business and finance moving forward. It’s a newly created role where the successful individual will be given excellent autonomy shape/ structure the team whilst also creating & developing processes, procedures, controls & systems to maximise efficiency. The role will also offer the utmost senior stakeholder engagement and business partnering, providing excellent exposure & visibility. The key components of the role will include: · Business partnering with senior stakeholders including C-Suite, SLT & Departmental Heads · Involvement in high profile projects · Leading, hiring and developing a small finance team · Reviewing and developing processes, procedures, controls & systems · Ownership of cash, financial control and reporting · Cash management, cashflow analysis & forecasting · Banking, banking relationships and covenants On Offer The position of Lead Accountant is based in Edinburgh, with strong hybrid working i.e. 3 days a week in the office and 2 days a week from home.
