Reporting To Operations Manager (Mobile Device Laboratory) Location: Stratford upon Avon Department / Division Digital Forensics Application Deadline Main Job Summary To manage, coach and monitor all aspects of the Mobile Device Lab in conjunction with your line manager and the Forensic Case Team. Monitor all levels of staff motivation and performance to ensure high levels of efficiency, ensuring case management and efficient use of resource whilst being customer centric. Main Duties & Responsibilities (other Duties May Be Assigned) Same as analysts with the addition of the below responsibilities: Assign case work to analysts and utilise CCL’s case management system to effectively and proactivity manage case work of individuals to maintain efficiency, ensure deadlines are maintained and to monitor ‘on hold’ cases Lead and motivate your team members to perform to the best of their ability Assist with basic HR tasks and monitoring and provide feedback for one to one reviews Ensure analysts record the correct time and notes on projects and preserve TRTs Dip sample analysts output to ensure all quality and policy requirements are being met Monitor and address any challenges that may affect productivity and have an impact on the customer Manage all aspects of our current ISO standards and ensure that all current ISO processes and documentation are up to date and are being adhered to To actively liaise with Forensic Case Team to ensure maximum efficiency, clarity and ensure that customer requirements are met Maintaining a safe, secure and legal work environment; developing personal growth opportunities for staff To accomplish results by communicating job expectations; planning, monitoring, appraising; coaching, counselling, and disciplining employees To develop, coordinate and enforce policies, procedures and productivity standards To maintain overall quality of service by enforcing quality and customer service standards; resolving quality and customer service problems and recommending improvements To actively liaise with Forensic Case Team to ensure maximum productivity and efficiency Contribute to Lab performance and maintaining technical skills with managing a small caseload Required Skill Set & Experience To perform this role successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
