Technical Staffing Resources (TSR) are the in-house agency and master vendor for KBR, a leading global engineering, construction, and services company.

We are looking to recruit a Principal Process Engineer on a 12-month contract based in Leatherhead, Surrey.
On Offer:

2. Outside IR35, highly likely so engagement via a Ltd Co. is permitted
3. Hybrid working - 3 days in the office, 2 days from home
Responsibilities:
1. Support the Technology Representative (TR) in definition and selection of the process
2. Provide expertise for the Process engineering discipline to ensure project success
3. Support ENGINEERING PARTNERS and LICENSORS in the development of engineering deliverables to ensure a safe process unit that is fully integrated in the relevant refinery site (e.g. Basis of Design, PFDs, H&MB, P&IDs, data sheets, certain lists, etc.)
4. Support quality of project documents, e.g. PFDs, PIDs, and process data sheets by providing process engineering relevant know-how.
5. Support documentation management (control of input/output documentation in relation with SOW) - preparing evaluation reports highlighting the discrepancies, gaps, missing information, recommendations for improvement;
6. Contribute to scope of work definition and tender documentation. Supports definition of process guarantee parameters (e.g. hydraulics) in the engineering phase.
7. Review engineering documentation from LICENSOR / ENGINEERING PARTNER
8. Ensure the implementation of quality standards required for the PROJECT
9. Management of process interfaces and defines requirements for auxiliary systems e.g. flare, cooling water, fuel gas, and off-gas systems.
10. Support opportunity framing, translating potential technical solutions into concepts that shall be provided to LICENSORS and ENGINEERING PARTNER
11. Ensure that all process-related risks are properly documented in the project risk register
12. Ensure that all process-related results of HAZID/HAZOP studies are properly resolved during the engineering and are implemented.
13. Active participation, support, and provision of process engineering expertise in HAZID/HAZOP/LOPA workshops
14. Support for all process-related questions, technical queries (TQs), and Change Requests (CRs), between OMV and engineering company or other third parties.
